Abstract
- The article focuses on SCONUL Research Extra, a cooperative access and borrowing scheme for staff and research students in British and Irish higher education institutions, run on behalf of the Society of College, National and University Libraries (SCONUL). SCONUL Research Extra offers researchers quick and easy access to member libraries by means of comprehensive information on the SCONUL website. A total of 9,500 researchers registered as users and borrowed 99,500 items in 2004/2005.
