Abstract
- The article presents information on various issues related to prison legislation in the U.S. The prison legislation came in to force after conservation between the Republican and Democratic leaders. Lawmakers in California approved a construction program that would add 53,000 beds and move 8,000 convicts to other states. It is stated that the present prison system has several deadliness set by State and federal judges to reduce overcrowding in prisons.
