Abstract
- The article provides tips for saving some sentimental things such as postcards or ticket stubs from a vacation. Don Williams, a senior conservator at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C. and coauthor of "Saving Stuff: How to Care For and Preserve Your Collectibles, Heirlooms and Other Prized Possessions," warned about moisture, bugs and mold that may destroy these sentimental things. Acid-free archival-based papers and cotton rag paper may be used to avoid mold.
