HOUSE PROBES EPA VOLUNTARY PROGRAM.

The article reports that two House Energy & Commerce subcommittees have made investigation on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Environmental Performance Track program. The investigation is designed to reward industrial facilities for environmental excellence. Moreover, after finding that Performance Track members have included facilities that cause troubled complying with environmental regulations, EPA's inspector has called for reform of voluntary program.
