The frame for mobile equipment's is designed to be never repaired. For the higher level of strength, rigidity and durability of the frame is necessary the use of new calculation techniques during the first design stage. This work deals with the main frame analysis of the Cuban sugar cane combine harvester KTP-2M model, using the Finite Element Method in order to modify the frame assuring the strength and increasing the rigidity in the rear side and using less quantity of metal.
