Abstract

The article provides information on geospatial models of infectious disease. Effects of patches, distance transmission, multigroups, and networks are analyzed by the models. It is stated that key results have been reviewed on infections such as measles, foot-and-mouth, influenza, and smallpox, within this framework. The significance of the epidemiological insights generated by these models are also illustrated.
