Abstract

This article offers world news briefs. The U.S., Great Britain, and France conferred about a response to Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Nikita Khrushchev's block of access to Berlin, Germany. U.S. Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Paul R. Butler recommended Los Angeles, California as the site of the 1960 Democratic Convention.
