- The article reports on the events of the fourth "Nonlinear Physics: Theory and Experiment IV," conference held at Baia Verde, near Gallipoli, Italy, from June 22 to July 1, 2006. A brief history of the previous congresses on mathematical physics are given. The topics addressed at the conference by the researchers are overviewed.
