Hidden in Plain Sight, Some of Our Colleagues Remain a Mystery.

The article presents the author's opinions on mystery employees; employees who manage to work in businesses without being seen frequently or without having co-workers know what their job functions are. Arguments are presented which suggest that mystery employees seem to thrive in bureaucracies and business growth periods in which profit masks unproductivity.
