Acupuncture for Glaucoma?

The article presents a study which examines the efficacy of electro-acupuncture as a treatment for glaucoma at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Twelve monkeys were the subjects of the randomized study and were divided into three groups wherein one group underwent no treatment and the other received a single treatment through acupuncture. Shauna Cantwell, principal investigator of the study, states that the study suggests the potential therapeutic use of acupuncture to treat glaucoma.
