Every Good Designer Uses Patterns.

The article focuses on the role of patterns in the success of designers in New Zealand. The author emphasizes that by understanding design patterns capture the best practice for solving problems in a particular design. He added, that to be a competent programmer, one must understand all built-in designs of industry-standard libraries. While there is many new approaches to software design-methodologies today including the Rational Unified Process and others, expert programmers have to be more committed in responding to problems involving solutions, consequence, liabilities and benefits which is the essence of software design for programmers.
