Abstract: The article reports on how Fourth of July was celebrated in Iowa. On the day, presidential candidates were to be found everywhere including parades, picnics, parks and at baseball games. A parade in Clear Lake was attended by politicians like Bill Clinton, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Mitt Romney. Senator Barack Obama also spoke at the Smokey Row Coffee House in Oskaloosa.
