Abstract
- The article presents information on the online travel agencies in the U.S. It is reported that the online booking market in the U.S. is facing a standstill therefore the companies are trying for the international market especially Europe. It is mentioned that to make their hold in the European market, these companies are buying European online booking companies. Information on acquiring of European online agencies by U.S. based Priceline.com Inc. Travelocity.com PLC is also presented.
