Abstract

The article reports on the confusion surrounding the killing of captives by the terrorist organization Taliban in Afghanistan. Taliban said that it had killed two German and five Afghan captives. The Afghan government disputed the claim, saying that one German died of heart attack and the other was alive. There was no report about the killing of Afghan hostages, the government said. Meanwhile, Taliban said that they would kill 23 South Korean hostages if their demands were not met.
