Abstract
- A biography of F. Howard Kratzer, a researcher in poultry nutrition in the U.S., is presented. He enrolled at the University of California to attend graduate school in poultry nutrition. His research career started in 1941 with a publication on gizzard erosion and has published over 200 papers in referred journals. In recognition of his research, he has received the National Turkey Federation Research Award, the American Feed Manufacturers Award, and the CPC International Award.
