Abstract
- This section offers news briefs on the economic condition in China. The central bank finally raised the benchmark one-year deposit and lending interest rates of commercial banks on July 21, 2007. The country's fiscal revenue grew 30.6 percent year on year to 2.6 trillion yuan, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Finance. Real estate prices in China's 70 large and medium-sized cities rose 7.1 percent year on year in June 2007.
