Abstract
- This article examines the inclusion of autistic children in general education in China. Children with autism have been historically kept out of schools in China. Autism is misunderstood and under researched in the country although the potential number of victims could exceed one million children. Challenges and possible solutions for effective inclusion of these children is offered including teacher preparation, legislation and financial support.
