Abstract
- This section offers news briefs related to open access publishing. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) announced a new policy that requires its investigators to ensure that their articles are openly accessible via deposit in the PubMed Central archive. A condition has been announced by Oxford Journals regarding the access of all primary papers published in the "Journal of Experimental Botany" as of April 1, 2007.
