The article reports on the implication of the Web 2.0 software to the education industry in the U.S. Most educators were hesitant to use it for they observed that they can do their tasks without the need of a blog or wiki in less time and without any of the risk accompanying Internet in the classroom. Other educators discovered its benefits including easy connection to global communities which allowed them to use text, photo and audio to distribute their ideas to audiences.
