Abstract

The title compound, C22H29NO3, was obtained by the reaction of benzylamine with parthenolide. X-ray crystal structure determination revealed that the configuration of the new chiral center at C11 is R, establishing the stereospecificity of the amination reaction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
