Bush proposed further studying the issue of climate change at the June 2007 meeting of the Group of eight nations delaying the agreement till the end of 2008. A court order to improve weak water-quality standards for factory farms has been put off-until February 27, 2009 ostensibly to provide time for the agricultural community to adjust to the new requirements.
