Abstract: Determinants of green party activism. 15 pages of text, 40 pages of tables. An exploratory analysis of surveys of 18 green parties in 15 countries in Europe and Australia, with more than 7500 respondents. A typology of party activism is given. Comparisons of demographic characteristics (gender, age, education, length of party membership), of motivation to join the party. Reasons for lack of activism and description of activities within the party, and green activities.
