Abstract
- The article reports that Indian government's delay in formulating a policy about chip manufacturing has forced Intel Corp. to look other Asian sites for its chip manufacturing plant. The company is considering China and Vietnam. Intel Corp. chairman Craig Barrett was quoted saying that the Indian government had no plan about chip manufacturing when the company began discussions with it on the issue.
