Abstract

The article focuses on multidetector computed tomographic (MDCT) angiography. A case is presented in which the quality of coronary angiographic images was considered superior than MDCT angiographic images in evaluating the dissection in a patient's right coronary artery. MDCT angiography is described as a noninvasive diagnostic cardiac imaging method that is particularly useful for inspecting the coronary arteries. It is claimed that a MDCT diagnosis of dissection should be confirmed by use of coronary angiography.
