This article examines the materials and fabrics being used in high fashion during Milan, Italy's fashion week. High technology fabrics are showing up at all the fashion shows from semitransparent silks to cotton that looks like paper. Several reasons for the appearance of the high tech fabrics are offered. According to the author, part of the design change comes from global warming which is blurring the lines between seasons.
