Abstract
- The author comments on the method of test interpretation for suboptimal Down's syndrome screening. He wrote a paper urging the combination of biochemical and ultrasound screening for Down's syndrome into a single late first-trimester test. At that time, the method of test interpretation hinders rapprochement. He suggests three principles of screening needed in evaluating the optimal way to allow for gestation and calculate risks.
