Party System Institutionalization and the Level of Democracy.

A significant number of scholars have anlayzed the relationship between the levels of democrcay and party system institutionalization. Yet, few have done so in a large-N study. We attempt to fill in this gap by analyzing the relationship between party institutionalization and democracy in OECD, Latin American, and Post-Communist democracies.
