Abstract
- The article presents the response of the author to the reviews of her book "Feminizing Politics." She says that the reviews by Julie Morgan and Ann Widdecombe show the differences between political scientists and politicians. She argues that as a political scientist, she needs to declare and explain the ideas that influence her work and report all that she has learned even if it does not support her preferences. She states that Widdecombe asserts that she hates the book because by drawing attention to her sex, it makes a token of her. The author says Widdecombe has misread her book.
