Abstract: The article examines the theatrical production "Black Watch," a dramatized portrayal of the experiences of British soldiers who served with the regiment of that name in Iraq. The play was written by Gregory Burke. It has been a tremendous success in Scotland, where it debuted in 2006. "Black Watch" will open in the U.S. in Brooklyn, New York City, on October 23, 2007.
