Abstract
- The article discusses contractors working for the U.S. government in Iraq. Altogether there are more contractors in Iraq than U.S. troops. Most contractors have civillian-type jobs, but between 20,000 and 30,000 of them provide armed security. Of these, almost one-third are neither Iraqi nor from the U.S.
