Abstract
- The article explores the implications of the Defense Transformation experience of Great Britain as well as its potential consequences for the region and its allies. It cites that the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) undertaken in 1998 characterized the first major change in approach to defense and security policy and it has been widely perceived as a template for reform by several states. The biggest challenge for experience is to have understanding of what to transform to.
