The SH&E Profession: Pay It Forward.

The article focuses on the author's perspective on the strategic goals set by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) which are crucial to the profession's future in the U.S. He said that ASSE and each of its members and the professionals committed in the safety, health and environment (SH&E) must find ways to pay it forward for their profession and for the students. He stated that these students will have a chance to interact, network and share with seasoned professionals, with the goal of guiding their transition from students to practitioners to professionals and eventually, to Society leaders.
