Abstract
- The article reports on the departure of two prominent chief executive officers, Stan O'Neal of Merrill Lynch, and Charles Prince of Citigroup Inc., which were seen in October in the U.S. A discussion of the factors which led to the departures, including a perform or be replaced culture which exists in Wall Street financial firms. is presented. The replacement search for both executives is discussed.
