Abstract
- The article reports on the resignation of Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov after the appointment of his father-in-law Viktor Zubkov as the new prime minister. The author said that Serdyukov's reason for resignation was due to his close family relationship with the prime minister. Several speculations about the resignation of Serdyukov such as his disagreement with First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov is also reported.
