Abstract
- The article comments on the paper "Health literacy, health inequality and a just healthcare system," by A.E. Volandes and M.K. Paasche-Orlow. The author applauds the efforts of Volandex and Paasche-Orlow to argue that the untoward health effects of limited literacy be deemed reflective of a systematic form of injustice on the part of healthcare delivery systems. The author claims that the paper's argument is a vital component of a bigger moral imperative to reverse the inverse care law.
