Abstract

The article discusses how representative stories can help disseminate research effectively. Five attributes of representative stories are being suggested including expression of important themes in research, explicit location in the distribution of stories, verifiability, acknowledgement of uncertainty and compelling narration. Researchers who want to enhance dissemination of their work should gather more stories during the research process to identify stories which are credible.
