Chapter SIXTEEN: STAGES VI AND VII.

Chapter 16 of the book "Addictions Counseling: A Practical and Comprehensive Guide to Counseling People With Addictions" is presented. It explores the sixth and seventh stages of a recovery treatment plan for addicts. Particular focus is given to the development of identity and intimacy during recovery. The goal for these stages is to discover the recovering individual's strengths and needs and then help the addict to see them.
