Abstract

Abstract: The manganese oxides La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 with rod shape have been synthesized by a simple solid state ceramic method. The morphology and magnetic properties of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 have been studied by XRD, SEM, TEM and VSM. The diameters of rod-shaped oxide were ranging from 180nm to1.5μm and the length was averaging 20μm. The ratio of length to diameter could reach more than 35:1. The magnetic results showed that the Curie temperature of rod-shaped La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 is far lower than single crystal. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
