Abstract

The article reflects on the plan of recreating Pennsylvania train station. It is stated that the new plan is likely to work because it relies on a mix of public and commercial interest. Comments are made on the chances of changing the plan for commercial benefits. It is suggested that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer must make sure that the Farely buildings surrounding the train station become a public space and not merely a passageway.
