Abstract
- The article reports on the temporary suspension of a reforestation project in the central and western parts of China. The government has decided to cut grain subsidy as part of a new policy to amend the farmland-to-forest project. The policy aims to halt the conversion of farmland to forest due to the fact that farmland has been severely reduced in recent years.
