Abstract
- The author reflects on the carbon emissions policy of the Kyoto protocol, and how changes should be addressed as a new international delegation meets on the island of Bali in Indonesia in December 2007 to renegotiate a global plan of environmental protection. The problem of emissions caused by Indonesia's destruction of tropical rainforests and peat bogs is discussed.
