Abstract: The article presents information on the increasing number of rehabilitation centers (rehabs) in Malibu, California. It states that the local community of Malibu is not happy with increasing rehabs in the city. It mentions that Malibu has 26 licensed rehabs, including Passages Malibu and Promises Treatment Center. The U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the California law, states that rehabs with six-beds or less must be treated as single-family homes.
