Abstract

The article focuses on the authors' study on the integration of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) phenomenon that has potential implications on performance and strict regulations concerning the use of medications among athletes in Great Britain. It stresses that the adoption of such scheme determines its practicality during the implementation of the widespread screening policy. It also emphasizes the must for the consideration of the factors related to the socioeconomic implications for the initiation of such scheme. Further, guidelines set for the initiation of such widespread screening program are also included.
