The Future Is Drying Up.

The article presents the author's views on environmental issues related to the West part of the U.S. He notes that though the area is the fastest-growing part of the country, it is also the driest and climatic changes there could make things more difficult. He believes that the problem of the West is its bigger populations and environmental regulations. He says that the water problem of the West is known as the "other" problem and that even water managers don't know how long will a drought last.
