Abstract

The article presents a medical research on neurofilament-immunoreactive afferents in the substantia gelatinosa induced by compression of the dorsal root ganglion (DRG). Allodynia was demonstrated by a decrease of mechanical withdrawal threshold and c-Fos expression in the superficial dorsal horn induced by non-noxious stimulation. It revealed that the changes may be related to alloydynia induced by DRG compression.
