Abstract
- The article presents the design proposal of architects Patel & Taylor for the centre of Rheims, France. The city's centre is divided into two axis: the first one is the cathedral, which is flocked with thousands of tourists during summer and the other, is the armature of the quotidian life of a thriving provincial city. In their design, Patel & Taylor brought these two areas together by designing the cathedral square as a place which could both be enjoyed by Rheims citizens and tourists.
