The article reports on the results of a research on the per capita costs of panic disorder and subthreshold panic disorder in the Netherlands. According to the researchers, the per capita costs of panic disorder and subthreshold panic disorder is higher than those of other common mental disorders. Concomitant agoraphobia was found to have contributed to the increased costs.
