Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the Aqua India 2007, an annual event of the Society of Aquaculture Professionals (SAP) which was held on September 28-28, 2007 in Chennai, India. The event reviewed the status of the shrimp aquaculture in India and presented papers on aquaculture development in India under the theme "Progress Through Partnerships." Participants were welcomed by SAP President, R. Srinivasan while an inaugural address was given by G. Mohan Kumar, the Chairman of the Marine Product Export Development Authority (MPEDA).
