Abstract

The article offers several aspects related to the Transfiguration church in Chinatown, New York City. It is a 2 century-old church of the transfiguration in Chinatown and it celebrates masses in three different languages. Every Sunday the church draws around 900 people for attending Sunday mass and every year on Easter the church baptizes several children including mostly Chinese.
