Abstract: The article announces that Republican candidate for Houston, Brian Klock, has pledged to lunch on military meals-ready-to-eat until March 4, 2008. The pledge is an effort to illustrate his support for the U.S. troops. Klock, a military veteran, will run against other Republican candidates, including Shelley Sekula-Gibbs, Robert Talton and Pete Olson.
